Growing 4 bagseed plants under a mix of 150w CFL's
100w is 2700k
50w is 6500k
THey vegged for 49 days, my plan was 60 days but decided to 12/12 9 days ago.
Today is day 9 of flowering.
I vegged under 100% 6500k because I didn't realize I needed a mixed specturm.
I transplanted them from 4L containers to 5Gallon buckets a few weeks ago.
I feed them tap water that has been sitting out for a week... no idea what pH
THey are in some premium container soil from the local big box retailer.
I fed them some 1/2 strength MG 24-8-16 during veg once or twice and I have fed them in flowering once only and I gave them water with 1 tbsp/gal of molasses and also 1/2 strength shultz liquid crap that was 10-15-10.
I have 4 plants but only had enough soil to put 3 into buckets so one is still in the 4L container.
I fed them last sunday a week ago.
2 days ago I found mold on the surface of the soil because I accidently left the window shut for 3 days after feeding them so the humididty must have gone up.
I scooped out an inch of soil and then sprayed it with 50/50 water/vinegar and have left them to dry out. So far so good. The plant in the smallest containeer looked like it was getting dry and possibly wilting so I fed it today with nothing but water cuz I was paranoid about the mold and for some reason still wonder if the molasses is worth what I have read to be potential hazards.
Anyways it's been a week and 2/3 bucket plants still look moist. I am thinking I definitely want to let them dry out as much as possible so if there is any mold left it will die.
7 days without water though? I have read most people water every 3-4 days but these girls dont look like they need it yet (though I did spray the topsoil with tha =t vinegar mix)... anyways they dont seem to need much water.
I know this sucks without pics but they are all around 18 inches in height. The stems at the base are 3/8" thick or so maybe 1/2".
One of them barely stretched and the nodes are like 1" apart. The other two have nodes around 2-3" apart.
I have a fan blowing on them 24hrs a day.
I see SOME new calyx's and hairs since I switched them over and changed the bulbs but not much... They look helathy and the fan leaves are the size of my hands etc I just thought I would see more flowering/bud sites after 9 days.
How big can I expect these things to get and are they going to "fill out" with flowers?
I didn't top or fim them... Will I have one big cola or will I end up multiple because they vegged so long.
I read alot lately and really want to get a 400w HPS for flowering but cant afford it right now... only thing I can do is maybe get a few more CFL's to add on the sides or replace the few 13w's I have with 26w's.
Are they going to double in size over the next 51 days or so as they finish flowering because they are already big and decently bushy?
