2nd grow first time LST need some help

This is my second grow and this time I decided to LST my plants to increase my yield and maximize my grow space. The problem I'm having is my fan leaves are growing rather large and I'm wondering if because of the LST I should trim some of those leaves as to allow light to penetrate deeper into the plant or is this type of growth normal for LST and should I just let it do its thing? Also I'm thinking of topping the plants when they get a bit taller when doing LST what is the height you want to top at?

So you recommend just bending the leaves down and bending the main stalk and the more I do this the leaves will start growing up instead of out like they do when the plant just grows naturally? Also have I been letting them grow too vertical? Should I be keeping it bent way over like almost growing horizontal?

no you dont need to do anything to the leafs just bend the main stalk down slowly every day and the leafs will keep growing towards the light. and grow out from under the side of the plant thats going down

Thanks, for the advice guys I will keep yall updated on how things progress and let you know if I have any other problems.

Today is day 31 of vegging and I decided to do another LST today. I'm still a bit worried about just the shear amount of leaves on the one plant like its small compact and just leaves everywhere. I have 3 sets of fan leaves almost laying on each other and I'm wondering if I should maybe just trim some of the tips off the fan leaves so I'm getting better penetration. The leaves are also drooping a bit, but I figured that was from the LST shock. My main question is what should I do now should I let it just grow up straight from this point so it has more height / room for more leaves or keep bending it down and hope they start pointing more upwards?

p.s The last pic is of a leave I have that is now at this point just laying in the dirt I have several that are doing that, but this one seems like something cut the end of it off and it has a hole in it. Hoping its not bugs of any sort.

If a fan leaf gets in the way I tend to bend down under a lower branch so it gets more light, using the lower branches leaves to basically hold down the bigger fan leaf. You really don't lose much light this way, you're simply redistributing it to the lower branches, no trimming needed. It's really just another aspect of the low stress training method. But from what I see there, your plant will fine on it's own, most likely no need for it at the moment.

My first and only lst, I just let them do wtf they want anymore.

Thanks, again for the information guys yesterday I transplanted them both to some good old 5 gallon buckets didn't stress them out to much with the move. They have already bounced back and are looking nice I think I'm not gonna LST the bigger one anymore and just let it do wtf ever it wants. The smaller one gonna keep bending and see if I can actually get it into a circle / semi circle. I'll keep you all updated on how it turns out.

Hey dude
I start like it ...
2 plants only View attachment 1872406View attachment 1872408
Is that wise ?

ummm if your asking is it wise to do it two only two then its probabl not a good idea to only do to because later when your other plants are tall they will block out the light to the two plants that got lst becasue they would be below the rest of the plants. you could do it o all of them or none i say, if you untie them now they should gow back up straight, maybe have a curve left in the stem
