This is my second grow, the first one was in hydro via drip system.

I want to try soil this time around just to try something different.

I have chem dog clones, (not sure which pheno)

I also have Dutch passion passion #1

And some LA Confidential.

I've transplanted clones into expanded clay with out any problems but never into soil.

Any tips? I'm using happy frog soil and fox farm nutes.

I've grown LA conf. and loved it. and loved the ease of growing it as well.

Any suggestions or tips on growing the dutch passion and chem dog?
When you transplant the clones to the soil should i water it thoroughly with 10 percent run off?

Neem oil def helps with spider mites. But there are other product out there to help as well depends on how bad your prob is. Next time try not take cutting when your plants are infested. You dont want to carry the problem onto your clones. Your clones will have a harder time rooting cause they are fighting off the mites.

When transplanting into your soil I like to fill up my container with coco/ or soil whatever your using, water it so the medium in saturated with a little runoff, your dealing with clean new soil so you dont have to flush the soil, then I make a hole and drop the rooted plant in, pack it in and water once more with just a cup or two more of your water/ nutrients. Mist it with a little water or what I like to use Rhizotonic from canna nutrients and you should be good....

thanks a lot man i appreciate your response.

I don't have spider mites yet i was just thinking of spraying them to prevent.

There are other natural sprays that you can get at your local grow shop. Neem oil is still good even if you dont have mites yet. Always staying ahead of the game is a good thing to do.
