2nd Grow Coming to an End..

Hey ya'll

Got these 3 mainliners looking pretty ripe. Two of them started to foxtail, the other is just straight ugly due to a gnat infestation in flower.

Anyways, under the scope I'm seeing mostly cloudy, maybe 10% clear, and a miniscule amount of amber (like literally 1 or 2 heads per sample).

Coming to you guys for some help because I'm finding it hard to get a good sample due to the foxtailing. I've recently just got some tweezers and tried to get past the new growth, but the results were still the same as above.

Bag seed so who tf knows what strain or flower period lol

What do you guys think? Day 65 of flower.

PS - Purple plant started nannering

you are in the harvest window.

if there has been no other sign of pollen sacks up to this point, the one throwing nanners is telling you she is done. a plant will do that as a last ditch effort to pollinate itself before it dies.

They are just starting to turn cloudy. You got a couple more weeks
They started foxtailing about a week and a half ago when I got my new lights. It's really hard to get a sample that isn't new growth.

This is what I was thinking. One is throwing nanners hard now, the other purplish one is also starting to throw nanners.

This usually indicates it's time to go, right? Since I can't get past the new foxtail growth to get a sample to look at under the microscope?

imo, yes.

honestly i would harvest, starting with the banana factories.

you would definitely not be too early. some of those trichome heads have burst (not round heads), the majority are clouded, some I bet have fully turned.

most of the pistils have turned, at least 70%.

also.........nice looking flowers man! bet they'll get you good and stoned!

@PadawanWarrior @Renfro @MickFoster What do ya'll think? Given the foxtailing and nannering on the two.
Looks great. I'd wait a couple weeks if it was me. I wouldn't stress the foxtailing. It could have been lights too close or too much heat. It can be genetic too. But it's mainly just cosmetic.

I wouldn't worry about the nanners this late either. But I'd spray the room down with water to kill the leftover pollen after you harvest.

Nice job.

Shouldn't I worry about the nanners right now? So that I don't end up with a bunch of seeds and cross pollinating with the other plants?

It takes more than 2 weeks for seeds to form.
Gotcha, I figured it was something along those lines. Considering the nanners started popping about a week ago (I plucked the initials), I think I'll harvest this Friday at Day 71 of flower.

Pretty flowers
Thank you kind sir! I was really happy with the results for the second go around. Definitely nailed density and thc content this time, next time it's all about weight! We're going to do a 4x4 mini scrog (2ft plants). Got some nice fem'd bruce banner, skywalker og, and black widow.

This one right here is starting its 24 hour dark period before she gets the axe.

Pretty happy with the quality for sure. Wish it was able to pack on some more weight though. Just about hit the goal of 2ft plants coming in at about 22.5 inches.

Plant turned out to be way darker than expected. This is the one that was nannering HARD

Don't Chop Yet!

Wait another couple weeks. At least wait one if you can't wait for 2. You want them to put on more weight right?

I would love to, but I plucked what I thought was a seed pod and sure enough it was - it was still underdeveloped and soft, but I don't want to risk those things hardening up and ruining my crop.

Given that would you still want to let it go 1-2 weeks?

I would wait. Who knows. Maybe the seeds it makes will be great. Chem is just one strain originally from bagseed. And they're easier to pick out if you let them harden up a bit.

It's totally up to you though. You will still get high if you chop now. And I don't think there's any reason for a 24 dark period before chop.

Welp, didn't have time to move it back under the lights.

1 down, 2 to go. Hoping to go the distance with the last ones.

Pics to come tomorrow

Chopped 8 cola on Sunday. Was tired of looking at the nanners and foxtails. Found a few underdeveloped seed pods.
