2nd grow, amnesia lemon and og kush from Barney's Farm

Doing this to document my 2nd grow and to hopefully win the Mars Hydro ts1000 #marshydroprimeday.

6/3 seedlings in dirt.

A few days later

6/27 transplanted

They were subjected to some pretty cold temps, mid 60's through most of seedling stage. I think it stunted their growth.

And this is a week after transplant. These are a month old and all caught up in the time line. I'll be updating daily. And the next grow diary I post will be with a Mars Hydro TS1000. Thanks for the opportunity @MarsHydrofactory

The morning after topping. I thought they looked pretty good. I changed the light from an older blurple light my friend gave me and put in this 100w Amazon led. I've got it set at 50%. Was thinking about watering today but there's still some weight to the pots. The perlite is def a change in watering schedule. They don't hold as much water and need watered more frequently. I think I let them get too dry last week.

Watered today used 15ml grow big, 1ml fulvic and 2ml cal mag. They're small but I really feel like they're happy.

Yeah they were prolly stunted by the cold. Mine started out same way to where it got down to 55 one night and i didnt even realize it until the morning but they came back with a vengeance.

That's great to hear. I feel like they're about to do the same. In another few days I can get them into the tent. Then I'm going to use this closet for 2 autos. Thanks for the reply

Bought a little humidifier to go in here. The rh has been up since I watered them yesterday and they look so damn happy. Also I'm going to put some auto seedlings in there with them and I have really noticed how stunted the growth is when the vpd is out of whack during seedling stage. Here a pic from today.

I'd like to see your node spacing as this grow progresses. I have found barneys farm to be very accurate when it comes to plant description vs what I see personally. However my barneys farm plants never have good node spacing like say anything I grow from Mr. Nice

Did some more lst. They're coming along nicely I think.

I don't exactly know what that means, but I can make a good guess. It's the spacing between nodes, right! Hehe. I'm messing around but I didn't know that was a thing. But it makes sense bc yeah I feel like these nodes are all bunched together. I went in there to tip it down and ended up using wire on almost every branch bc they were bunched together.

Tested the ppm of my run off after a watering this morning. It was 1500ppm. So that's telling me I don't need to feed right now, right?

Update of lst. I'm wondering if it's okay to pin the leaves back like this?

Update: I fell asleep on the couch last night and forgot to update my grow journal. Hopefully first thing in the morning is okay. Then I'll do another tonight.


Been messing around with more lst. The branches on the og kush are so damn short I can't really do anything with them yet.

Got this tiny little humidifier for the veg closet and it brought me up a bit. Was very happy about it.

Here some before and after defoliation and adjustments to branches. If anyone reads this and wants to comment please do. I was worried about taking too much off. Lemme know if I'm on the right track.

Also I moved them into the tent. I left the dehumidifier off and only going to run one ac until late flower. I'm shooting for high 70's-low 80's and low 60% rh. Really whatever it takes around this temp to be in the right vpd range. Which is where I'm at now. I guess as the plant gets bigger and puts off more moisture I'll have to mess around with dehumidifier settings to keep it where I want it.



I want so bad to build a bigger tent where I can keep an ac and a dehumidifier inside the tent then either use a controller or just allow the units themselves to control temp and rh. I gotta get a bigger light though. But before I do that we gotta recover a bit from all the other shit I bought that I didn't plan for. I tell you what though, if I win this light from @MarsHydrofactory then it's on. I'll run to the hardware store that day and buy the rest of the pvc I need to build the tent.

I grew that amnesia lemon on my last grow. Plant was a beast and yielded over 6 ounces with no real issues beginning to end. Smoke was great too. Good luck!
