2L bottle grows

So i'm facing a dilemma. I've been vegging my plant out for the past 25 days in a 2L bottle with the top cut off filled with soil. The plant has become completely rootbound and hasn't grown much bigger the past 10 days.

Now it is showing female preflowers, my concern is would transferring it into a larger pot increase the risk of getting a hermie, or should I transfer immediately so it can grow more since it obviously wants to but doesn't have the room.

I know that leaving it in a 2L bottle will reduce my harvest but i'm fine with only getting a little bit of smoke, i'm just trying to do whats best for the plant.

Advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

Personally i'd transplant it. Fill a pot, keep a 2L bottl in middle to create a hole and water slightly to get the soil firm, take bottle out, hopefully the hole remains a hole, cut the bottom off the bottle with the plant in and push down into hole, you should then, although might need a water, slide the bottle off the thing. (can also cut down the lenght of the bottle and hold it together prior to placing into soil.

Shoudn't cause it enough stress for the plant to hermie.

mustaineaddict next time you grow a plant from seed consider cloning the top and sex the top clone in 12/12 as soon as you seed roots. It saves some work.
