270w Blurple "Money Maker" grow

What's good Rollitup

Grow #4, had some issues getting seeds I wanted so while I wait for the re-order to come through I've procured some clones.

2x 300W LED from Vipar Spectra (270w actual)
2 x 2 x 4 grow tent
Strain: Money Maker (Strain Hunters)
4” scrubber with 76 cfm exhaust
Soil/Coco grow medium

Call this day 1

To keep the size down these girls have gone strain into 12/12 after rooting around 2 weeks ago. For anybody who followed my white widow grow (@Viceman666 ) will know I trained and trimmed aggressively and ended up harvesting ~120g from 70 days seed to harvest. This time around no training, no defoliation and will have a lot more time to make sure the plant gets to full maturity.

There is some minor damage but all the new growth is looking strong.

Cleaned the girls up, I think it will be best to veg for a few weeks before i start the switch but all good so far. They only had 1 day of 12/12 so I don't think it will stress them any more than transporting etc

Some roots have appeared at the bottom of the pot, all looking good so far. Have given one very light feed of grow nutrients.

Another week in veg before I flip.

I'm excited to watch this grow unfold;
I've got a 700w Apollo and they are pretty close to vipar.

I'll be doing a similar thing with clones so I'll be watching

That setup draws A LOT of watts for that 2x2 tent, I'm pretty sure you could get the same result with a 135w quantum board.
But the plants look good nonetheless! Im following to see the harvest from that strain, going to be killer if everything goes well

One question: what is that 'inner' pot? Does it dissolve or something after repotting the plant?

I'm in no way willing to get into electronics or spending on more money on this hobby so I'm backing in the blurples for another season at least. 4oz of white widow in 70 days seed to harvest says to me that lights aren't the limiting factor for my particular setup, for me it's tent size and time limits (due to property inspections every 90 days).

This strain is a very heavy yielder with a wicked body high, lucky enough to try it a few times over the guys previous two harvests from this mother. The inner cube is just the rockwool that it came with, the mother plant is all drain to waste, doesn't seem like an issue, will be transplanting to fabric pots next week before flowering.

You could get the 2 ounces per plant you typically get with a standard fluorescent light fixture. If you had better lighting, you'd double to triple your harvest.

So you decided to move away from hydro for this grow? What soil do you use? Or coco?

mixed some base soil (no nutrients) with some coco and a couple of clay balls for good luck

Increased nitrogen in the latest feeding, looks like the plants both started drawing off nutrients in the older fan leaves.

Happy with the progress after transplanting, will be flipping on Thursday, will have a full 11 weeks to flower. I would like to give some more time to veg but really concerned about height.

They look smaller than what youre used to.. cant wait to see how they will grow in the next 2 weeks and how much weight they will put on

Hmm, both are around 6” high, both also have more than 4 tops already, the freak white widow was topped twice and was a little smaller when I flipped.

I would say the amount of fan leaves or at least the size of the fan leaves is dramatically different for the first day of flower but this plant tends to have fairly small leaves but much larger buds.

It will be interesting to see how they compare, especially with full time allowed to flower. The guy I got it from recently pulled 21oz and 16oz from the plant, compared to 10oz he just pulled from an orange kush so it is a very heavy yielder.

What light is he using 1000w hps?

Those plants would've needed at least a month more of veg to fill the tent.

It's a 2x2, I've already proven it takes very little to fill such a small, discreet setup

If I pull another 4 ounces from a soil grow I will be more than satisfied

Starting to stretch, week 1 of flower.

Day 8 of flower, very short node spacing is interesting, not doing any triming or training on this grow compared to the WW grow so will be cool to see the growth pattern.
