25oW hps good for 2-3plants?

would one 250w hps light be ok for 2-3 plants? possibly more if it was supplemented with extra fluorescent?

i just harvested 6 plants off a 250 w. i had the tops positioned so they were in a 2x2.5 foot area. thye only vegged for 5 weeks and were al topped. they have been curing for about 2 weeks and have condensed into about 6 large mason jars. not sure how much that is but it seems like a lot

Yep, I started out using a 250 watter and did just fine. I was growing 15 plants in one-gallon pots, using the SOG method. SOG is growing small, single cola plants in a Sea of Green (SOG) style. If I remember correctly, I was getting about 1/4 ounce per plant of quality, cured buds ... maybe a little more.
