250w HPS

I just received 250w hps with xl hood!!! I got it kind of half ass setup in the corner of the room until I can build a box around it. I am pleased with how cool the light actually runs. I'm going to buy a thermometer and ph meter today.

I have a question, as you can see in the pic I have 6 clones and one auto blueberry (I only set in there when the sun goes down so it can get more hours of light). My question is if the light is close enough to the plants? I don't wanna get too close until I get a thermometer. Theoretically if I get enough airflow between the light and plants would I be abl to have it like a few inches away??

Soon I will just have the six clones and I will low stress train them into a SOG (or scrog? idk)

What do you guys think? How am I doin?

good way to test is see how close your hand has to be to the light until it starts to make your hand hot. . . if its too close to your hand, it'd be to close to your plants
