250w hps questions

Im gonna be using a cooltube with a 250w hps I was wondering if I would be able to exhaust the hot air from one side of the cooltube with a $30 duct booster fan and leave the other open and just intake air from the growroom also does a 250w give of alot of heat I wont really have a way to vent the hot air outside the room my growroom will be in a closet in my room about 3.5 x 3.5 6ft high would heating be an issue for me? could I ventilate the hot air upwards towards the ceiling and have fans cool down the growroom the heat is my main problem because the spots i can grow are limited and I cant have 10ft of ducting running through my house to cool down the growroom

I run a 250w HPS in a bedroom closet for my veg/mothers and I dont use an air cooled hood. I just have a fan blowing over the plants. I have never had a heat issue with the 250, the plants grow within 3-4 inches of the bulb without any signs of burning.

wow do you keep the door open or is the hole under the door enough airflow for it? I also heard cooltubes dont have a great light spread is this true? would the tempered glass air cooled reflector be better?

Yeah I leave the door open a bit. Its just a veg closet though.

Reflectors depend on the style of grow. If you wanna grow big bushes/trees cooltubes are the way to go. If you wanna do an SOG then an aluminum reflector may be a better option.

I was thinking of doin LST would air cooled or a reg reflector be better I was also thinking of buying this Its a moisture meter and ph meter are these a piece of junk?

I really dont know how reliable it would be as a PH meter, but I would be interested to find out if you do pick one up.
