Does anyone know a website that I can purchase a 250 watt hps and ballast system for "fairly" cheap... Around or under $200? (U.S. Dollars)

Paulio, yr link dosent work. Pink, try High Tech Garden Supply I know for a fact they have 430 watts for $119.00 brand new.

Wow thanks again Videoman, By any chance do you know how many kWh would be used if I had that light on the 12/12 cycle for 1 month. I'm trying to get a rough estimate of how much it will increase my electric bill.

My flowering chamber isnt gunna be large by anymeens. If you have watched the Mr. Green vid it will be about like his maybe even a wee bit smaller. My main consern with the 400 is the heat output. Will it be like super bad? Should I get a squirrel cage fan or some sort of fan to remove the heat to go along with my oscilating fan?

Yeah, I'm with Videoman on that one, I don't think you can find anything cheaper than that on the net that's brand new. People here will tell you ebay, but I don't think you can get something new for that price from a reputable seller.
Plus they will charge you next to nothing for shipping and get it to you in 2 or 3 days.
Your light will use around 90kwh a month on 12/12.

What if I buy the 400 watt one then will it use, like, 144 roughly? And will one of you out there, that actually understand it, figure the rough cost for running that light (the 400 watt one) for 30 days for me please. The price/kW or whatever where I live is .086.

I think I figured it out myself but I'm not sure.
Does this sound right?
144kwh - $12.38(12/12)
216kwh - $18.58(18/6)
288kwh - $24.77 (24/0)

As for getting the light; you can get HID equipment at a local electrical part supply shop for way cheap. Just dont get the bulbs there as they wont be grow bulbs.

Also 1000bulbs.com has good prices as well. Hrticulture Section

I walked out the door litterl;y i live down the street form htg suplly and it was 122 after tax and the 400 watt was the same but i couldnt use 400 i dont pay the electricity bill
