Aight so I like I once said in another thread, my new mh/hps light was not turning on. It would make a buzz noise. Now I was already told on here what could be wrong with it. So heres what they said. 1. It could be the igniter (I don't know how to fix that) 2. Could be a faulty light bulb (Kind of fucked up if it is, because I already contacted the website I bought this from and they already told me they are not going to replace it) 3. The voltage could be higher the the average American voltage (120). Now heres the catch though, I bought this pacific MH/HPS light because of another thread (grow journal)I read stating that this website had made a factory mistake when making the lights, and even though it was a 250 watt it had a 400 ballast in it, or something when the dude looked inside of it. I don't know about all that stuff so I haven't checked nor does it look possible to get on the inside of it. I'm going to get pics of the entire thing along with the bulb as soon as I can today.
