UPDATE: 1 WEEK UPDATE

Hi Everyone:bigjoint:,

Just a lil update on the seedlings. Unfortunately the LA Confidential #1 and the WW never ended up germinating. So for this grow we are left with the following:-

1. LA Confidential #2
2. Blueberry #1
3. 24k Gold #1
4. 25k Gold #2

Ended up buying coco bricks and perlite today and mixed up a 50/50 ratio batch and transferred the 4 seedlings into solos. Was not happy how much water my promix retained. Saw a gnat today so covered the surface of the solos with silica sand. Much happier with my medium now. I have attached a photo of the girls in their new homes for a while.

Seedlings got fed 1/5 strength nutes with 0.3ec calmag. Mixture came to 0.58ec overall. Ph'd down to 5.8.

That's about it for now. As always I appreciate all comments, critiques and suggestions. Happy Growing everyone:weed:

Wow Horrible! Looking awesome man! Hmm I may need to look into getting smart pots for when I transplant.

Jack HerrerXBlackberry sounds amazing man. Put a order in through Attitude for some 818 Headband from Cali Connection a day or two ago:bigjoint::bigjoint:

they might improve the shortcomings you're experiencing with the promix I'll get you a better pic as soon as my I-pad charges it's pretty simple I've never used promix but it has a solid reputation among growers

Yeah I also read great things about promix however I don't trust the supplier that I got mine from ( he mixes his own in-house). My runnoffs were way off with it and it retained way to much water. Much happier now that I've mixed up my own batch, time will tell if my ladies appreciate the change:blsmoke::bigjoint:

yeah the promix they sell around here comes in sealed bags straight from the company your mix 50/50 should work fine here is a pic of my basic smart pot -drip pan setup. that I use in one of my tents 1 qt. of nutes gives about 1" of runoff as the plant feeds & the mix dries the runoff is wicked back up soon I'll increase the runoff to 2" when the plant is a bit larger I like the simplicity of this method the other tent has a tub , pump & 3-1/2 gal reservoir setup on a timer to flood daily when I grew multiple plants I used the 2 gal. smart pots with a similar coco ratio as yours IMG_2792.JPGIMG_2793.JPG IMG_2794.JPG

UPDATE: 2 Weeks since popping the ladies into the ground.

Hi Everyone:bigjoint:

A quick 2 week update. So this past week things in the room have been quite eventful to say the least. The day after transplanting the ladies I noticed heavy yellowing on all of them with stagnated growth. At that point and with not many options as well as not wanting to lose the genetics I mixed up a batch of organic soil with worm casings and bat guano. All four ladies were than repotted into soil:|

I sure do feel sorry for them with 2 transplants in 2 days but I feel it was the right decision. I can always revisit and try my coco adventures in the future.

After being transplanted into the soil they immediately picked up and by the next day have seemed to have thankfully recovereded:hump::hump::hump: Since being in the soil they have been watered tap water with big bloom. Overall ec is 0.23 and PH`d down to 6.5.

looking good I ran coco for about 3 years & my biggest complaint was finding a good source of coco mixing it up coco seems to fluctuate from brand to brand so I went with tha waterfarms until I lost 2 back to back grows due to high temperatures & root rot royal gold tupur is organic coco & other organic matter as well I tried it because I was about to lose a 3rd grow so far it's about the best thing I've ever used right out of the bag which cost $11.00 a bag I use gh 3- part nutes been vegging 38 days & im about ready to flip if you're considering coco or a soilless mix I strongly recommend the tupurIMG_2825.JPGIMG_2826.JPGIMG_2822.JPG

Hey Horrible,

I will definitely have to look into that tupur gold. Highly doubt it's available locally here. Really battle in my area to find any good quality coco/spil brands of any sort.

Wow your ladies looking great. Awesome to hear you are about to flip! Exciting times aheadbongsmilie:bigjoint:

I flipped the largest plant Friday you've got solid growth those are gonna take off the tent with the smaller plant has really woke up I've had to kick the nutes up a notch but things are going well & overall I'm feeling pretty good about things as this gets up to speed you'll be up to the point of flipping sooner than I did because 4 plants will fill a room sooner than a single plant these 2 plants were in the same tent & I split them up because one was growing faster than the other IMG_2882.JPGIMG_2884.JPG

Update: Week 4

Shit what a week it has been. All the ladies got a severe lockout. @Niblixdark thankfully diagnosed the issue and suggested I flush the ladies and give them a light feed. Since then they have only been watered pH'd water when needed. They are still recovering however new growth is looking good.

Sorry for the short update. As always I appreciate all comments, critiques and suggestions. Happy growing everyoneIMG-20171015-WA0011.jpg IMG-20171015-WA0009.jpg IMG-20171015-WA0008.jpg
