well i want to see what all the hype is about so i picked up a couple diff styles of q boards to test how well they will do growing an auto.
qboard sounded better to me in the mom tent than the old leds i had in there. it was just for keeping moms alive for cuts and trade with friends so it didnt really matter what lights were in there as long as they did a half decent job keeping plants alive. when theres an auto in there id put a cob on top of it and let it do its thing beside the moms. in the summer when its hot id cut the moms down and take cuts then replace the big moms with small cuts and run 2 3ft t5ho led conversion to keep them alive through the hot months then in sept switch back to stronger light grow moms up take cuts and start up the flower room. thats when i start putting an auto or 2 in there depending on space and at least get something outta the power im using in that tent. it works for me and its a nice little 'side project'
