2400 btu not large enough?

I am running 12x 600w lights and I own a 2400 btu 2ton mini split

I was going to have it installed but this dude says its not big enough to cool my room

The lights are in rows of 3 with each row having its own vortex to push hot air through the lights snd out the room

I live in norcal

Is this guy full of shit or is he right? Do I need more cooling power?

already have it then run it... should be fine since lights are also air cooled... worst case is run room at 84* an add co2.

You must mean 24,000 BTU right? I heard that for every 1000 w of light get 4000 btu's of cooling but take into consideration any heat that can come from the walls or roof from the sun. If it does then add 1000 btu's per light give or take. Be aware that Split air systems wont automatically turn back on if you have a power outage - I have lost 21 plants in their final 2 weeks of flowering due to this!
