24 Plants under 2 x 1000w HPS?

Yes 1000 watts is good for a 5x5 room and 12 plants in 5 gallon containers,so a 5x10 room with 2 1ooo watt lights in 24 5 gallon containers will fit...peace redleg..p.s if from r.i go to the medpatient site and check out my thread...sincerely redleg

you have the same set up as i do. I have 20 plants under 2x 1000 watt lights and its going really well, i also have a flowering room in the bedroom next to it. I am 2 weeks into vegging and they are just about a foot tall & bushy! Perpetual motion baby!

try ebay or craigslist,cheap,cheap ri is rhode island,just noticed your from canada..got family in vancouver and montrel..i love that place..peace redleg..p.s nice setup your planning
 
what's your electric bill like, if you don't mind me asking? I've really been thinking about MH/HPS but I'm worried the cost will be outrageous compared to my flourescent setup.
