Welcome all,

Feel free to jump in here and post.

Girls seem happy in their new veg spot. Clones/mamas:

4 of these will flower next.

One GG4 RIL female to test.
Three NYCO x DSD first run as clones.
Both from Tony Green’s Tortured Beans.
The rest are mamas of those and Useful’s BOO on the right there.

On the seed mat are one each:

All regular beans but something will be female hopefully and we’ll get a look.

Harvesting and rebuilding my room at the same time has been a fun and exhausting puzzle. I should be done with the flower box soon and will get some pics up.

Some nuggage going in jars.

3 boo clones and the nyco x dsd on the bottom right. Went with two weeks of veg after transplant to 5 gallon pots. No more Scrog. Loving life. Felt plants expressed themselves better.

Looks like 10 pics is the limit and I’m trying to keep this simple. :bigjoint:

Thanks you two! I’ve been busting my butt to get this build done before it’s time to transplant. Lots of late nights but some good things to come.

The nyco x dsd is super strawberry-orange fire.
Also both Tony’s beans were first up. They all popped but both his came up first so that’s impressive.

Some notes here.

I needed far greater intake filtering and seriously fixed that with my new build.

Don’t mind sharing the struggle. At least one of those pics has some sneaky fibers but I noticed it then and was on it.

I used my air compressor with a dust nozzle and water/oil filters (like for painting) to make sure the air was clean.

Would not attempt without filters.

Low psi like 30-40 and dusted them off. It’s a pain in the ass but it really does a great job if you need it.

Patched up my intake the best I could and kept after it. Managed to keep them clean.

That’s been completely fixed now with better air flow and Merv 13 filter protecting. It’s easily maintainable now too.

I’ve read many times and suppose I now echo that you can’t ignore that intake especially after some years growing lol.

I wanted to be able to:

Work on every plant throughout flowering.
Grow most any variety with taller ceilings.
Have more air volume in the grow space.
Have everything easy to maintain.
Be as low tech as possible.
Keep same or minimal wattage increase if any.
Create actual work flow that makes sense.

To solve the riddle of keeping the same low watt lights for a much larger space I built hanging movable reflective walls. They also just pop off the hangers easily to set aside.

Sorry for the lines in the pic and distortion I forgot I was testing both lights. Plants were ready for transplant so we had to get moving

Still being organized here but pipes on the ceiling to slide them wherever.

This is more finished now but a good pic to show the exhaust.

The diamond roll seems to live up to its reputation for not reflecting much heat and mostly light. I’m impressed. Winter I might actually need to hang some panda to keep temps proper which is a nice change.

Some might see wasted space but that’s where I’ll be sitting and fussing/pruning heh. From the plant’s perspective the space will grow with them. If it’s a bust we’ll all find out together haha.

I’m thinking it’ll be way easier to maintain their health with better air volume. Same as bigger pool/reservoir is easier to stabilize.

Alright so in other news here the seedlings are all chugging.

Root shot from transplant. Think this is 16 days growth. I’ve seen better but feeling good here.

Had one lag a bit getting established going into 5s, back right

First glance seems okay but
84B78B20-FA27-4F8E-98F4-F303812CCEEC.jpegLooking like my extra helping of dry amendments was too heavy handed. I never like seeing crinkle like this. They aren’t happy.
The GG4 isn’t as upset and likes a bit more feed.

Pretty sure I can grow out of it and get them right.

Should be flipping them to flower but I want to see the problem resolving first.

Seedling are doin their thing and just out of their super sensitive stage. They too accidentally got amended promix

Can’t be too hard on myself with all that happened in January. The new space seems to be exactly what I was hoping.

Closed myself up in the flower space the other day and it’s freakin nice in there. Once I stop thinking I know how to make super soil things should roll along nicely.

In case any are interested why I say that crinkled leaf is from hot media.

The full story is that I’d gotten behind on watering which then showed the media imbalance and brought out that crinkled pale leaf IMO. I wasn’t sure until I watered yesterday and they relaxed.

When roots are established I look for under watering showing from the bottom leaves up but here roots expanding into something a bit spicy root troubles can show in the tips.

I could be wrong but that’s my take on it. Things are back growing fast and where I want so I’m happy. We’ll flip them in a day or so.

Life has been pretty chaotic outside the garden so I’m thankful for peace and health while I’m in this oasis.

They came around and we’re back to our regularly scheduled shenanigans. Trimmed all the suckers a day before the pic but hardly look it and seem to love the pruning.

Even Ms. Strugglebus figured out what was up. This was the clone that lagged a bit but she’s fine now.

Trimming smells on the GG4 RIL are so promising. It’s just got that sour funk. I’ve seen the early resin producer in a male so I know I’m still hunting for the female counterpart. This should still be killer though from the smells. I’m excited.

Seedlings are happier getting into the quarts and a bit more maturity. Clone mamas on far right, one is rooting still but has a spot. Hot media definitely slowed the seedlings down. Should be sexing soon but they might need an extra week.

Hope you all are doing well and your gardens are happy!

Benchmark, three weeks from the flip.

Group. Can see the GG4 RIL wants stronger drink. I’m accommodating.

GG4 RIL (pheno#1 for me) is beastin’. Never had pompoms like this at just 21 days.

The yellowing food leaves I’ve been leaving to watch them. They are old and new growth isn’t continuing to do that. She’s been getting her own drink mix for a week or so.

Also leaving a few lower suckers to see how well the reflection carries.

Seedling are showing sex now too. I’ve got at least one female in the Blue Dream x Star Dog. Will flower this year.
Secret 25 and NYCO x GB are males so they got axed. GG4 #2 pheno is suspected male and will know shortly. Mikado is still hiding signs.
