I fucking went to tie back a split top on my Jack H auto and the weak bitch split like a ten dollar whore wanting to get it over. Tied it up back into its spot, should mend, I hope. Well see what happens. Things only 3 feet anyway, budding everywhere.

It’s that time…last year the caterpillars did not show interest in the massive Tirah plants, but I’ve already pulled apart two nests with eggs under leaves as well as seen cabbage loopers and a few hairy ones. Not gonna fuck around, B.t. will be sprayed twice weekly and after each rain from here on out until harvest! Much better for the environment to do that than wait and have to spray bee-killing spinosad or undertake other nuclear options after they are out of control.

As usual… late to the party! But at least I made it! Hello buds! Lol :bigjoint: I also changed things up a bit this year. I retired my (4) 45 gallon pots and instead downsized to 10 gallon pots. I grow on a deck, 45 gallon pots can’t easily be moved from weather but the 10 gallons are a breeze. I went with (3) Puna Diesel (B.I.G.), (2) Holy Grail (DNA Genetics), Diamond Malt (bag seed), (1) Mimosa/Orange Punch (Barneys) and (1) Sour P rsn (freebie)… (8) total, (5) topped to 8 heads, (3) just letting go w/o training at all.7ACB2AA4-030D-4639-86B3-78BDEA859B7A.jpeg4D655CD2-B1E9-4C53-B929-3FC443BE1163.jpeg5423E126-E17A-4289-BAAD-511EBBCFBFA9.jpegA74FD791-B1E8-4900-89FA-32ED34DCF804.jpeg

Couldn’t properly regulate the garden soil moisture in the Balkhi Repro 4 gallon plastic pots - I used garden soil and it is way too dense for proper drainage in pots that size. Then the soil got too warm once summer kicked in and I started seeing lower leaf die-off. Three looked like shit yesterday so I said fuck it, in the ground you go!

Last year I was able to use the same soil in 2 gallon fabric grow bags, so I figured I’d up my game with bigger pots - but didn’t consider no side aeration with plastic pots plus increased diameter would make it so hard to deal with. Live and learn!

The soil was bone dry down four inches when I dug the new holes, we are definitely in a drought - thankfully for these plants, as the last thing they need is heavy rain until they dry out…
