a few pollen chucks in progress...

Exotic Genetix Candy Apple Kush pollinated via Hazeman's Mikado, nice solid plant allround, approx 2' high, should be about 2-3wks before seeds are ripe
IMG_0958.JPG IMG_0954.JPG

3 x Paradise Seeds Sensi Star regs, 2 of which pollinated via GGG Bright Moments & 1 x Goji OG male, wish i could explain terpines like some other more learned folk here but damn its awesome smelling gear already! approx 18"-2' high, these & the lone 'Blasphemy' were planted later(approx 3wks) than other chucks in progress
IMG_0966.JPG

BOG Sour Bubble pollinated via Bodhi Goji OG, approx 14" high, nice chunky frosty plant, 2 other SB both pollinated by Bright Moments & Mikado males respectively not pictured because of sameness of type

these seeds just plucked from a living plant, new pollen chuck GDP x C99(female) x Hazeman Mikado(male) are nearly ready, will leave plant growing for another 2-3wks to ensure full ripeness

below a classic example of compatible & incompatible genetic combinations when crossing strain types...both types are same age

darker smaller seeds on left are from Greenpointseeds Orange Blossom Special(f) x Bodhi Goji OG(m) extracted from a small lower bud on the plant that is still maturing those beans, happy with the result & its looking good for at least 1k of these beans being reaped.

larger paler seeds on right are Hazeman Mikado(f) x Bodho Goji OG(m) same male used on OBS, yet that is the total amount of viable seeds from the entire 3' plant, there are thousands of non-viable seed husks, have found this event happens in about 5% of chucks, genes do not combine well & non-viable husks are the result

Paradise Seeds Sensi Star pollinated by GGG Bright Moments, exuding a nice powerful syrupy terpine which could be the Turpentine pheno? maybe because its been so long since having smelt Turpentine have forgot what its like?
IMG_1015.JPG

Exotic Genetix Candy Apple Kush(f) x Hazemans Mikado - seeds swelling nicely in calyx...few more wks & they're done

Are you doing these indoors or out
outdoors, im allways outdoors & use greenhouse frame to pull blackout covers over when i need to extend light hours(dont want neighbors seeing lights blaring till 3am!) & also to shorten light hours(mid summer) to have budding cycle in full heat

thanks bob, never really thought about autos, bought so many packs this last 2 yrs its really enough to keep me pollen chucking like a maniac for the next 10yrs ha, to the point if i dont there will be some that become non viable through age...and thats a CRIME in my book lol!

thanks thumper, i do try to get a decent yield most of the time, this recent pollen chuck was aimed as a 'short term heavy yielding' breeding session, yet im not sure what will pan out of that? not being a commercial grower i grow for my family and relatives that inhabit the surrounding areas & some of them can chuff through a fair bit when they want, a lot of the previous chucks were/are light to medium yielders & this last few yrs have been struggling to keep it up to them, hows your frame setup going now?
