2016 California Ballot Propositions

Then if the Gov. don`t use advertising to pay for the site, then things might go smooth and the idea can probably work well. But there`s always that extra money left over and the site is guaranteed to have 3/4 of the country viewing it.

It will kill them to not accept advertising offers. I hope they don`t.
If they only allow optimised ads it would be fine also.

I'd imagine alot of the advertising would be from other Govt agencies though.

No on most. Yes on a few.

Condoms in porn is just nanny-state meddling by self-righteous do-gooders.

prop 63 is just more prohibitionism and unconstitutional, basically just the war on drugs with a different boogeyman to chase.

This is a typical CA ballot. A lot of nosy neighbors wagging their fingers at you.

Yes on 64, though it is all larded up with taxes and gifts to special interests. The taxes are so high that it won't make a dent in the bad aspects of the illegal trade. That will make the drug warriors happy.

I am excited for a few of these. If you're a CA resident, I encourage you to click the link from ballotpedia and read a bit about the bills and who is funding support/opposition for them

Which ones excite you? The only one that is mildly appealing to me is 64.

I concur on that one. I also agree on the funding to schools but again who is going to pay for it. I thought lottery was suppose.

CA is already one of the highest taxed places in the US, and they want more? Fuck that.

Quit wasting money. Leave people alone.

The Democratic party are doing their best to ruin the state. Dems have a super majority here. Everything is their fault.

That`s not the kind of site we are talking about. We are talking about one that you will only have 72 hrs. or something to view new laws. We`ll see, maybe if......
No reason it couldn't all be archived but the new bills have to be made available 72 hours in advance.

New laws under consideration.

1. Where would they put up the text of a law besides the CA state web site?
2. What is wrong with advertising?

Prop 57. Yeah, maybe. I need the details.
Prop 59 is useless, except as an explicit statement that you don't support the idea of free speech.
Prop 62. Yeah, I support that. Again, I need details though.
Prop 63. That is just what California needs, a few million more "felons" created with the stroke of a pen.
Prop 64. I wish it was a simpler amendment. Something along the lines of "it is legal to possess a pound, grow up to 12 plants." No tax on gardening. No tax on possession. No special permits or favors to political buddies. It is imperfect, but I will vote for it.

Details for Prop 57

Citizens United (along with Buckley v. Valeo, First National Bank of Boston v. FEC & McCutcheon v. FEC) subvert free speech by giving those with the most money the loudest voice

prop 63 is just more prohibitionism and unconstitutional, basically just the war on drugs with a different boogeyman to chase.

large capacity magazines have been banned in other states, challenged in courts, and found to be fully constitutional.

your problem is that you are just a dumb white supremacist who does not know what is constitutional and what is not.

for example, affirmative action, which you think is unconstitutional, is actually constitutional. denying service to people because of their race, which you think should be legal, is actually unconstitutional.

hey, remember that one time you joined a white supremacy group, then spent months lying to us all about the fact that you joined? that was hilarious.

must have been embarrassing for you, ya know, to be called out as such a lying piece of shit racist, but it was hilarious for the rest of us.

thanks for that.

Snitched anybody out lately?

Snitched anybody out lately?

the other day, i was trolling racists on facebook and finally saw the albatross of all facebook posters: the racist loser who actually had a job.

i know, i barely believed it either. most racists are completely unemployable losers like you, sucking up social security checks and socialized medicine, worthless to all of us. basically just a vacuum for the hard earned dollars of working taxpayers like myself.

anyhoo, i took a few screenshots of his racist comments and emailed them to the manager at the car dealership he worked for. asked if this is how thy wanted their company to be represented in social media.

well, long story short, poor ol' wayne m. doesn't have a job anymore. i checked today and he was no longer listed on the website as one of the sales and leasing associates.

i thought i was doing a public service to the company and the dozens of responsible employees they have, but a guy who identifies me as a (((jew))) thought i was snitching.

where do you fall on this scale of opinion?

My opinion is, you're a loser who can't even plant a viable embryo in the uterus of the woman who supports you. As Trump would say: Very sad.

are you forgetting that i make more money than you and live in a nicer house than you?

you can't even afford $800 a year to keep the most precious little gun nut event in your life going, and you are at retirement age. THAT is sad.

my wife's money makes more money than you do selling that shitty wood you are peddling. you are pathetic.

stick to impressing white supremacy groups with your tales of persecution, loser.

Maybe you and the missus can adopt? Need to do something to keep that gravy train on the tracks.
