2012 vs The Rapture

Poor guy.

It is stunning how people that follow these kinds of false prophets stick with the program, even when the guy is dead wrong. I have seen these types of people and regardless of any evidence, even evidence spurred from nothing (predictions of the end of the world from the bible), they still stand resilient in their beliefs.

Its all faith.

On May 11, 2011, when this guy is wrong again, there will be a lot of briefly disappointed people.

I can't blame them that much. If my hippy messiah might be coming back I would be pretty ecstatic too. (Hendrix, come on man!)

The amazing thing is that he'll profit off the "error". He'll claim he needs money to fund advanced research into biblical math to adjust his calculations and they will fall for it.

Just like Jesus has been "coming back" every year for the last 2000... when there's no reason to believe the man even existed.

edit: (and for our incensed Jesus freaks, before you open your mouth go find yourself historical documents from during his "lifetime" which account for him. The New Testament is neither historical nor written in that time period, so try again.)
