Hi, I was curious how many people plan on attending one of these Marches in your city. I will be attending ours here in Michigan at Grand Circus Park in downtown Detroit. The event is schedule May 2, 2009 from noon - 6pm

I might, it depends. There are 2 in my state, both nearly a 2 hour or farther drive from me.

Bummer, but get a few friends together and I bet that 2 hour ride would seem like nothing. I attended ours last year wasn't the biggest turnout but met some good folks and all in all it was pretty peaceful with no arrest..

That's another drawback, what if someone gets stupid and the cops flip out and I end up in jail. I don't really want to be in jail at all, especially that far from home.

violent protest are the best kind.that gets the news media attention.

it is hard to get weed smokers to riot though.LOL
you get more media attention for your cause when you do.
turn over a few police cars and set a few dumpsters on fire.your cause will be all over the news then

that just plays into the myth that marijuana makes people violent ciminals.

everyone knows marijuana smokers are not violent criminals.
we are lazy couch bumbs.

but if we go out flipping over police cars, what does that make us?

Yeah i'm telling ya it was mellow, had some music..some guest speakers...people puffed in circles...But I think there will be more involment now that we have Medical Marijuana laws. But really its time to make our stand for all cannabis users wheather they be med paitients or people who just self medicate cuz they can
