you want it 75 degrees... 80 is doable... 90 is deadly.

you need fresh air coming in and leaving the closet, if you have it leaving, it will natural be vaccuumed in as well. so you need 1 exhaust at least.

closets get warm! get a thermometer.

If they are the actual 200watt cfls then yes that would be good for a few plants. But if it is the ones that are equal to a 200watt light bulb, you will need atleast double that amount.

well say i had like 4 they would be pumpin out like 10,000 lumens right there for each one so that would be like 40,000 lumens right there the i can het like 2 more and have like 60,000 lumens pumping out alot of light any you really cant say thats not a goood light source

Squiggly lights_CFL's_come in different color temperatures (kelvin). The higher the 'k' the whiter the light.

For my veg, I use the GE_model C248_bulb, which is 6,500k and 100w equivalent, with like 1,600 lumens. I can only find these at Wal-Mart_Wally's World. Probably 1000bulbs.com has them also.

A minimum of 3,000 lumens per square foot is required for any type of success.

Take the tin foil down, it will not help but only hurt your efforts and results. If you want a reflector then either get some gloss white paper, or the white 'Panda' film.

You can get a 2 outlet light socket at Home Depot, put 2 'Y' connectors, stick 4 bulbs into it and end up with a pretty good grow light.

Hope this helps

You are looking for 11x17 inches because it is easy to work with, IMHO.

Of course you can always go to officeMax or Staples and get a ream of the 'gloss postcard paper' and some rubber cement_which rubs off if you screw up :) _ and then put a few drops of rubber cement on the back of the paper and then press it onto the cardboard.

If you go to staples or officeMax, and they have one of those 'print centers' ask the person there where you can get 11x17 ultra bright coated paper. He will probably direct you to the local store where the printers get their paper from.

Also, your local hydro store probably sells the panda film for about $1 a foot.
