200 Sunblaster CFL

i have a 200 Watt CFL from sunblaster. i was wondering how many plants i can grow under this light? and how far should it be from the top of the plants?

also, should i surround the plants with a few 42Watt CFLs too?

i'll appreciate any help you guys can offer!

put the cfl as close to the plant as possible without burning it..if its too hot for your hand then its too hot for the plant.., and yeah throw some more cfls around the middle and bottom buds hense they wont get as much light from the 200 watter.hope this helps
 
bah, i really am regretting buying that 200 watter. the box says 14000 lumens, so technically that's only good enough for about a 2x2' area. right?

i should've waited a little and bought a 400 wat MH :/

ive seen some nice grows as far as CFL's go. im no expert, but 200w for cfl is HUGE. so it should do great. :)
imo i wouldnt put more than 1 plant under 1 cfl bulb just because of the low amount of lumens.
and if you ARE gonna save up to buya highclass lighting setup i would suggest you get a HPS over a MH because
HPS can be good for flower and veg where as MH would would really only be good for veg.
BUT of course having the combo of the two is always best.
 
ive seen 250 watt grows, with just one light and they did pretty good, I think you'll be surprised what u can do w/ that 200 watt and some 42 + 23 watts

you need more than that one.

A 250w HID does a 2x2

i'm gonna stick with my 200 watter for now. add a few small cfl around the plants and maybe a couple of t8s that i have lying around. should be a fairly nice grow.
