2 year Residency clause in HB 1284

so does this new 2 year residency requirement only pertain to dispensary's, or people wanting to get the card. i am moving to colorado so i can get my card for my chronic depression and anxiety.

if this is the case then i may have to move somewhere else.

if anyone knows for sure, then any help would be appreciated. Read HB 1284 and couldnt find it for sure

This is the paragraph you are referring to and it does not pertain to somebody who wants to obtain an MMJ Card.

AT LEAST TWO YEARS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE PERSON'S APPLICATION;​

EXCEPT THAT FOR A PERSON WHO SUBMITS AN APPLICATION FOR LICENSURE PURSUANT TO THIS ARTICLE BY​

Hmm the previous reply vanished somehow... redo:

Hate to be a downer but chronic depression and anxiety are not qualifying conditions for the registry in CO. CA on the other hand can issue a REC for anything where the doctor thinks the patient may benefit from the use of cannabis.

Regulation 6: Debilitating medical conditions and the process for adding new debilitating medical conditions
A. Debilitating medical conditions are defined as cancer, glaucoma, and infection with or positive status for human immunodeficiency virus. Patients undergoing treatment for such conditions are defined as having a debilitating medical condition.
B. Debilitating medical condition also includes a chronic or debilitating disease or medical condition other than HIV infection, cancer or glaucoma; or treatment for such conditions, which produces for a specific patient one or more of the following, and for which, in the professional opinion of the patient’s physician, such condition or conditions may reasonably be alleviated by the medical use of marijuana: cachexia; severe pain; severe nausea; seizures, including those that are characteristic of epilepsy; or persistent muscle spasms, including those that are characteristic of multiple sclerosis.

really? even though cannabis is known to help depression and anxiety? thats somewhat ridiculous. even though my depression causes nausea?

well if not i guess there are other ways of getting a card. i guess i can just claim severe pain. i hate doing that but you do what you gotta do. im tired of being paranoid everyday cause of my current grow. its been reeking havoc on my anxiety.
