::::::2 week old outdoor plants no leaves just healthy stems::: HELP.

i have 2 week old plants they were beautiful before. i had them growing nicely in a outdoor grow box. but then i decided to plant them in the ground with good potting soil in a field so they would get more sunlight. but i fought a war with slugs and they ate all but 1 of my smallest. the plants r still growing their just healthy stems about 4 - 6 inches tall growing new leaves on the sides. there were some stems coming off the main stem that were attacked but i cut the ends off all of them just a bit. will my plants be ready to harvest before october 9th?
