I've tried to post a picture of my plant but I keep getting errors. So here is a link. This is a 2 topped California Orange Bud from Nirvana. I did not top it and it has not been damaged. I wish I would have taken clones. Any way, i thought it was a cool plant.

way cool. there seems to be a lot of this going around. i have two right now doing the same thing. different strain though.

Sweet plant dude. Another option is to top WAY early, like when the plant's about 4in high, that way you basically get 2 main stems for the price of 1, and if you're growing a 'donkey dick' strain like a skunk, it means you'll pretty much double your bud

you can take clones after harvest if you wish.
