2 seedlings together

by mistake i planted 2 seeds together there about an inch tall how can i separate them without killing 1 of them eventually if i let them both grow in the same pot the roots are going to get tangled or can they both grow fine in 1 pot?
 
bad move. if they aren't brand name and you have more seeds probably start over if they're young cuz taking them apart will probably kill them.
 
Let soil dry..if you try when wet the soil weight can tear roots ... remove them with a big spoon and lay on side and they should separate fairly easy using a fork gently.. the roots in seedlings grow more down at 1st..... some small may be tangled ... try to separate ... the plants may stress a day or so but should be fine.. Luck.

Its not good two in one pot... what if ones male.. you cut it but the remaining roots rot.. not the best for good roots..
