It is entirely possible. Some strawberries dont reproduce solely be seed, some have runners they they throw out, which is just like another set of roots. Also i have blackberry, dewberry, and raspberry bushes in my grandmothers garden that some have grown back into the ground forming a loop persay. but if you did this, wouldnt you lose your main growing tip and cola(s)

dude i sware to god ive benn think about the same exact thing for like the past month, its gotta work, except i was thinking of somthing more on the lines of a hydro application where the roots of the plant would be growing out the side of the stem into a rockwool cube, it should cause the plant to be more efficient have more places to uptake nutrients, but im not sure if it would fuck with the inner workings and anatomy of the plant, but they are pretty adaptable, you should try it bro

The thing is, most times plants are already taking in about as much nutrients as possible. The lights, or something else would be limiting factor you would hit after giving it 2 root systems, plus now you have 2 different sites for nutrient buildup in the medium instead of one.

How about just running wire lines along the ground ar very near the ground and training your plants to grow along it ...It has a name aspeliated ...
I doubt that the re roooting (runners) thing would work I think it has to be in the genetics of a plant to do that ...
But I do know you can train you plants to run horizonatally with ease :joint:

I was in the process of doin that when I got booted out of my spot and they when to waste but even the early results where promessing but i took a long clone and did it got some small roots on the top and good ones on the bottom then booted. IE IT WORKS but the growth I could tell you about.
