If you guys don't mind, look at the pics, and i need to know for sure, the smaller plant, thats what a male looks like, right? Pollen sacks, no hairs, those will turn into flowers which pollinate right? (AKA these are the ones to toss).

Second pic, its one of my 2 skunk plants, and I am curious, why are the leaves so yellow and droopy at the bottom? Lack of light in that area? Nutrient burn? Too much water? I only water when necessary, i thought i had enough light (it didnt start doing this until about 3 days ago). the other skunk is doing fine, however some fo the dwarves I have also have tellowing leaves...Theyre growing but dont look happy..some are some arent. (i was thinking too many nutrients, or not enough light..)

Can anyone please tell me these 2 things??? MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

the skunk is about..oh geez germinated it beginning of december. So its been 2 months max, not even. Soil is potting soil with a bit of organic compost, and i feed it water from jugs (not distilled, but more spring water, cuz its cheap here at grocery store), and for 1.5 litres i add 2-4 ml of Bio-Grow, organic fertilizer from holland, its a weaker solution of 8-2-6 ratio. (N-P-K) I feed the plants a little bit (not soaked just enough to make the soil moist, every maybe 4-6 days, or whenver i feel with my finger the soil is dryer like 2 inches or so.

he is right that sure is a male and one ugly mug as far as plant to its hard to tell maybe to soon but if they are the same age it is a possibility, for males usually show week or so earlier than the ladies but no telling for sure the pic is far away good luck though.

but do u know what might be causing the yellowing of the leaves? I am assuming a light deficiency because its only at the bottom, hence maybe they are not getting enough light.

Could be.Sounds like you have it right though. They look like the first set, which can fade -I would clip 'em off and pretend it never happened, it will be fine. I am doing an SOG style thing and clear the stems for the first 10" or so as well as any shading fan leaves.

oh, so it wont have a profound efect or stump growth?? i assume know since those are near the bottom where the plant is already well "established" if you will..the top would have an effect right? (if i trimmed it, since its a fresh area)

Ok so its ok to trim the leaves at the bottom?? let me know b4 i do anything stupid..maybe tell me in the picture which ones to rim (or use microsoft paint and just draw some arrows and repost the pic). thx.

just trim the bottom ones that are yellow... 2 or 3 of the bottom ones.. What kinda light are you using?

Trim the ugly. Don't "trim" the top. Look in FAQ Topping/pruning-it's full of really good stuff.

hahaha thanks, yea the 2 skunks I have are growing gooooood, the dwarves are small but they are flowering slowly and getting bushier, so i assume time will let them gorw in nicely, I will have to re-adjust my lights soon, otherwise its all good...as compared to what they looked like in my other thread, once you guys have me some advice and my dad told me to replant them in some bigger pots so they have more soil to suck nutrients out of (yes...my dad....LOL) they have been groing very nicely. I mena they barely had leaves before...now theyre reaching for the sky...for little personal use plants I think theyre doing almost A1.....

Thanks for the luck I may need it!
