well hydro isnt a type of seed lol ,,, you should read as much as you can before growing, but for 2 plants, 6 or more 26w+ cfls, if you want to start cheap...

lol well sorry but like i said
im new to this...

ok well what about 1plant.
cause now im kinda debating
weather i should start 2 or not...

cause i mean since this is my first
time i kinda just wanna test out
the tips ive received and if they
dont work then keep trying...

so what about for just 1 plant?
is there just like 1 bulb i could buy?
if so what kind?

Actually, how much would 6 26w+ cfls cost? U.S.

6 lights for 2 plants = 3 lights for 1 plant............

and i wouldnt start only 1 plant because it might be male.

26w cfls cost $8 for a pack of two.

hydro deals with the way that the weed was grown.

Hydroponically. Just a bit of information.

And I would rather have some nice soil grown, then hydro :blsmoke:

go to home depot. they have 50wat hps's (250 watt equivalent) with the fixture for 30$$$ that'll be good for 2 plants, get some good soil, and thats good enough for you. do alot of searching on this website

Do you have more specific information. Brand name. Link would be nice. Is there any rewiring involved? Just plug and grow?

um well i went there and this black guy directed me to the light.... i didnt really look at the box. you need to get an ac adapter thingy to wire it together, costs like 12 bucks. and that plugs in... ...

heres a bunch of hps's (look for the name high pressure sodium on the titles).
Security & Flood Lighting - Lighting & Fans at The Home Depot

just look around on the site, and if you need help wiring it together the people at home depot are nice so ask for some help.

just to be clear a 50 watt hps is equivalent to 250watts so dont be discouraged by small digits.

People on this site swear by Fox Farms. You probably have to order it online or pick it up at a hydroponics store somewhere. For what it's worth, I'm using Miracle Gro and have had no problems, i.e. strong plant growth and sweet buds growing. :o)

Cost wise it should cost you less than $10 for a good bag of potting soil. Just looked up Fox Farms soil online and it was selling for 12.50, so not too bad. Good luck with ur grow!
