2 plants 2 70 w hps 5-6sqft

whats up riu ,ok i rearanged my grow 2 northern lights ,2 70w hps maybe a couple cfls does anyone use 70w hps and can tell me what to expect.thanks:joint: passing to the left
 
Hey man. I used a 70w HPS combined with a 100w CFL and grew 2 plants about 3 1/2 ft tall. The yield was not the best and I think it took 4 months or longer... but it worked :). You just gotta get those bulbs literally 2" from the plants. Also, the lower branches hermied with little white seeds on some of the smaller buds because there wasn't enough light :( just another thing to keep in mind. :joint: :: power puff and pass to the left ::

you "Think" it took 4 months or longer?? How could 2 plants take four months? You sound nuts. I could of grown 2 plants at a time and finished 4 plants in 4 months. Depending on what strain really but most strains finish in 9 weeks or 2 months... theres a few 9+ weekers
 
Yes... it took 4 months. a 70w hps and a 100w cfl is NOT a lot of light and not the recommended amount of light. That was from seed to harvest. Just wait 4 months and see
 
And before you call me nuts....IT TOOK 4 FUCKING MONTHS!! I had friends grow 1 plant under a single 65w CFL and it took 5 months. No light, no results. If you want ANY results with low light, then you have to wait.
 
i use a 150w hps in a cab on 1 plant. the cab is about 3.5 sq feet. i am having good results but i dont think you have enough light
 
You have enough light.... just not enough for amazing results. Don't split hairs with what people are saying. If you want a GOOD yield, then 400w minimum. If you want a EXCELLENT yield then 600w - 1000w. You will probably get an 1.5 ounces dry with 2 plants and that much light. But if you had 400w on them you would probably get 3 or more ounces.

Hmm guessing you never grew a landrace sativa huh. Some finish 14 weeks plus 8-10 weeks are usually Indicas.

i have seen folks get more off cfls,2 plants all that light 1.50z what the hati
