I have started 4 kali-mist and when i get the seeds i will be growing 4 ultraviolet autoflowering. my question is if i switch my main 3 led lights to 12/12 for the kali's, i plan to run 6 more hours of light 125 watt cfls on the ultraviolets. the light will be not directly on the kalis but it will not be dark either. I have only the one closet and want to use the same ebb and flow system, I know i can grow the ultraviolets at 12/12 but wanted more yield. thanks

Plants can sense as little as 1foot candle. The additional light for the autos will mess with the photoperiod plants. You're gonna have to find a way around it. Cover them somehow?

Wont work unless you have them completely seperated and lightblocked. It is a common sense question...

12-12 has to be completely dark at the dark cycle, any amount of light will cause ur plants to think about being hermies.

You could just keep the light 18/6 until the autos are finished. That will give you time to veg the photoperiod plants more. Maybe you could take a couple clones off of them while you wait for the autos to finish up.

The other option is to just give the autos 12/12 also. They will still flower, just not as well.

Im not getting it? One set of autos and one not? Autos do not flower by the light cycle, I would just run my cycle normally 18/6 and when its time to switch to 12/12, do it...this will not interfere in the cycle of the autos and you will get the full schedule for the others.

I understand they flower on 12/12 but i read 18/6 gives you bigger yields. Its not a big deal I'll just grow the autos on 12/12 when I go to flowering on the kali's

With autos, the more light the better, because they dont need the photoperiod. So you can just leave them in there with the 12/12 plants and take a hit on yield as they stop photosynthesis when the lights are off. If you grow autos, grow 24/0....
