2*2*4 Tent
Coco mix
1 gal magic pots
2 Daylight 6200k CFL’s for veg
2 4000k CFL’s for Flowering
*might upgrade tent size and use 315 CHM
Nutes. Botanicare bloom, grow, cal-mg, & General Hydroponics FloraMicro. Using schedule in attachment.

Started seeds on 5/21/18
Seeds sown 5/23/18

8 days update. Plants doing well
Just fed both plants with about 1/3 gal of nutes. Had just a little runoff. Excited that they are doing well. Really like the color of this plant.

Watered with plain PH’d water half a gal each. Made new nutes. Used 15ml of GROW and 5ml Bloom. 2.5 ml of micro, 5ml of cal-mag.
Will be watering with nutes for the rest of the week. Day 15 from seed.

Looks good. Don't swap the lights out. Use all of them. The more the better.

You want 100-125 actual watts for the first plant at a minimum and 50-75 actual watts for each additional plant with cfl.

You can grow with less but with those minimums the plants will do better.

I used to grow with t5. You want to use a mixed spectrum from start to finish. Plants do better with mixed spectrum.

This is not meant to be bashing. Just some friendly tips to help you get the most from your grow.

Sounds good. I was just thinking of swapping to my 315CHM with a 4K-R spectrum. My main concern is temp. I sit around 79F with the tent closed up while using current 2 CFL’s. I’ve had it get to 90F with the tent closed with my CHM. I moved the tent to a cooler room, so I’m testing it out first before I decide if I can swap without getting the temps too high.

You need to get an exhaust fan. That helps a lot. Exhaust the hot air outside if you can.

That CMH will rock it.

I have a 4” exhaust fan but it’s pretty wimpy. I don’t have the resources for another exhaust fan. I should when they are about to flower. I’ve turned on 3 more “warm” CFL’s and the heats already gone up.

Ok I have switched out my CFL’s for my 315 CHM. It really heats up my small tent. My exhaust has been routed in the back of the room. This has not been working, so tomorrow I’m going to push the exhaust to the attic, and try to get the heat out of the room.
Though the girls are still doing excellent! Looks like I may have to water again tomorrow evening, or wait another day. Today is 19 days from seed.

Might have to swap back out to CFL’s temps are getting high, and I have to keep lots of attention to the girls. However they are doing great! Have watered again. Plants are also running out of room in their 1 gal pots. Will think if switching to 2 gal pots in a week or so.. any sujjestions?

Both girls are thirsty. Watered with another 1/4 gal each of nutes. Have some small tips of roots coming from the bottom of the 1 gal pots. I only have 2-3 feel let to grow for height. Not sure if I should transplant to a 2 gal or go with a 3 gal.
After I trimmed the leaf I shot , she’s still doing ok. Will water with plain PH for next few days till I go through2 gallons then go back to a stronger nutes. Mixture.

These girls are taking off!
Girls are super bushy. Switch back to 6 CFL’s
4*43W (2-2600K, 2-6000K) 2*23W @2600K.
Temps typically around 79F with lights on and 62F lights off.
Watered yesterday with 1/2 gal of plain tap PH’d to 6 water.

To trim or not to trim that is the question.
My girls are doing pretty well. However they are starting to slow down, and get really busy. This is causing lots of shadows being casted. Not sure if I just need to replant in a larger (2 or 3gal smart pots). Colors are just awesome

Got new 260CFM in-line exhaust fan. Keeping cooler 73F 50% Humidity.
Lights on 24/7 now I can keep the tent closed. Might start some LST, as the girls have started to flower. Might need to do some light trimming on undergrowth that’s missing light.
