more lights the better..........why not get some 40 watt cfls from lowes or home depot

Sure. 80w of Fluorescent light will be perfect for a single plant, so long as you follow the CFL growing rules.

I said, SINGLE plant.

ive got 4 x 36watts on 4 plants and doing great. Gonna move them to HPS for flowering though

Na, Like the other guy said, more lights....It will be ok using what u got till you can get some more, but DO get some more, and whay are you just growing one plant? yous success/fail ratio is gonna be way up there, ya know? Germinate some more...what if that one plant turns out to be a male????

ya man your goin to need more light its cool for now veg with it. when ur ready to flower i get a hps its well worth it ull def get more out of ur buds.

I'd keep the tube lights you have now & run them on top of the grow & add cfl's to the sides of the grow,i really like how floro tube lights give a nice even light to the plant canopy where cfl's give off more of a point source directional type light.

Something like this picture only with cfl's for side lighting.

You can grow 80 watts for Vegging but Your gonna need atleast double that for flowering to get some nice Juice bud

yea ur good for now but wen u want to flower get a 400w hps its a good investment. ulll get better buds an who doesnt want that. just make sure that the lights real close like 2 inch away so that they plants can soak it all in. good luck

thanks fellas i just have 1 plant now but i got 1 more 2day nd im germinating 4 more seeds so dat will b6 plant and im only 17 years old i cant afford more lights i put a 100 wat cfl on my plants 2nite dere only seedlings
