No I wasn't on here last yr. At all. But basically it's my own spin on that dry trimmer the guy on dudegrows made.
I did a comparison on how much keif was in my trim tray for a qp compared to using my trimmer...and there was only .03 grams more in my trimmer. However it only took 6 mins to trim a qp. And honestly looked better then by hand. Lol

I followed your grow two years ago and did notice your absence last year.

I think I know the one you mean, looks like a foldable laundry bag.

I grew trees indigenous to my area from seeds for years. Dogwood, red cedar, bald cypress, palms, lots of oaks and pines. I would give them as gifts, and folks got to buying them. I sold $600 worth in a two month period, and it dawned on me it had turned into a job. The money was not worth the aggravation. I was having to drop trees off on the way to work. I stopped cold turkey. I still have lots of cypress and palm trees in pots, 15 years later.

I've got back into it in a small way. I'm growing big acorn oaks. Deer and turkey love them.

I was the same way with taxidermy. People ruined it for me.

I recently priced my grow costs at around 70$ a plant. But that is over 4 pounds a plant. So all in all that is pretty good.

Yeah I don't see how indoor can really make much money. The lights and electricity is so much! Heck If I went the rout of most outdoor growers making super soils etc I wouldn't make squat.

I Gorilla grew for years and even factored in fuel to the equation.

Why would you lol. I get what your saying but a gorilla grower back in the day was pulling (me anyways) $1600 per. At the end of the day I didn’t need to know I was netting 1500 or 1400, all I needed to know was how much the trip to Alaska was lol. Don’t get me wrong as again I hear you but really most outdoor gorilla growers don’t give a shit about the small (comparatively) cost per plant, just saying ;). It’s different if it’s a legit business, always nice to know net versus gross :).

4 lb plants indoors for $70 each. That's impressive, let me get my boots. I guess if each plant has a 1000 watter that would be $60/mo for electricity. The plants will need closer to 2 months of electricity. I dunno.

Because you might find if you included your labour the $1600 per, may come down quiet a bit. Labour adds up incredibly fast. If your growing and selling for profit then its nice to know the true profit. You can even then work out what you are earning per week over the year. Some people may get a nasty shock if they included all their costs.

Again I hear ya but we are talking an illegal grow right? And while yes your time is worth something, the value of that time must be placed in the perspective of sitting around getting high trimming plants lol. I and my partner can trim a pound in an hour and while I make around 50 an hour at my reg job, I don’t classify trimming as a job as much as a means to an end, that end being large amounts of tax free cash ;). I think I would know without adding all my expenses whether I would continue or not. I don’t grow anymore for profit, more of a hobby now and to save some cash. But I’ll say it again I see your point your just more meticulous than me lol.

Each week it is taking longer to tend my patches. It's up to an hour 15 minutes per 15 plant patch. {X 3 patches} That is not counting time to get in and out of the woods. Will take longer when I really have to water. If you counted my time, it would be cheaper to buy.

But I would be walking in the woods, if I was carry five gallon buckets of water or not.
