I have a 10 by 14 concrete floor room in basement that was used for work shop. I have a 4'x8' table with 4 4' flourescent lamps over 8 plants that have just sprouted and look great. ( using 6500k 40 watt tubes ) I have bought several 27 watt daylight CFL's and 40 watts. My first question is the daylight CFL's I purchased are all in the 1700k range and everyone says the daylights are the 6500 but they are nowhere to be found at the big stores other than online. Im working with budget but Im really just trying to learn and get all the bugs out before I buy seeds. I plan on keeping the 8 tubes overtop with 24 or so CFL's for the veg period. Flowering I will have HPS purchased buy then. I plan on adding 4-6 tubes on back wall behind table and closing the ends of with mylar sides. Can I leave the entire front open or do you suggest closing it in completely. I was trying to use fans blowing them from the front. Any suggestions? Any help would be great.
