Ok so I know I posted a topic similar to this (sorry for repeating) but this thread is more accurate since Im pretty much a noob at this.
I bought the cannabis grow bible and it explains like hi-tech indoor growing and doesnt help me at all. its confusing. so Im asking/talking on here.

Here's what I'm doing:
Growing 3 triangular planted bagseeds in 1 5-6 inch clay pot. I have the pot sitting on my closet floor, I have some GE air ionizer or neutralizer or something, and I have a piece of sheet metal hanging from the clothe bar or whatever you call it to hang your clothes on. the sheet metal is about 12 inches from the pot, is that sounding alright? if not, what should I do?

Monitoring what I do to the plants and recording them in a daily organizer/journal to keep track of my growth.

I have 3 bagseeds from some killer bud I had a couple weeks ago.

I am growing them in the shape of a triangle in a 6 inch pot. when do I transplant into separate pots? or do I even have to?

I'm using some kind of soil my mom had in the garage. the nute balance said .10 .08 .06 or some shit like that I really forget, but I have bone meal I can put in the soil, is that good? and when should I feed the plants nutes?

I'm using just a regular table lamp with the shade off and a 75w sylvania bulb for aboout a week or so until I get some cash to go out and buy a GE 400w CFL, is that going to be a problem until I get the cash?

I'm trying to flower them as soon as possible so Im doing the 12/12 sexing shit. I'm confused as to what to do and when to do it. I want to top each plant once and I have no idea when to do it or anything. any help?

and last, I'm using a reflective sheet metal all around the pot.

is all of this sounding ok for a first time indoor closet grow?

any input, advice, or comments are good. thanks!

Wow, Only advise would be to do some more reading, and reserch some of the grows others have done with tried and true results. Not trying to be a ass or anything. You just need to do a little more homework.

Ok, What the hell. First off loose the sheet medal. Get some mylar and cover your walls, or if the walls are allready flat white you can just let it be.
Start the plants out in seperate pots. Otherwise if you get a male or a sick plant, all of their roots are going to be tangeled with one another. As for the soil your using, I cant help. I dont grow in dirt.

Don't add any nutes for at least 3 weeks. Otherwise you'll probably burn the babies.

The light your using won't work. It's doing pretty much 0 for your plants. Wait till you get the proper equipment.

I'm guessing your plants are still seedlings. You need to veg them for at least a couple, few weeks at 18/6 to get an established plant. After you have 3 or four nodes and the plants are around 8" to 10" tall, you can put them under the 12/12 cycle. Personlly I would let them go a little longer before the change.

For real, just do some more research on some of the other threads. You can learn alot.
peace

newbie stealing this thread here.

So before you do the 12 hrs on light, 12 hrs darkness,, what do u do?

Do you let the plant have 24/7 light? or just what? explain for indoor and out please!

You start out with a vegitation cycle, with your light on 18 hours and off 6 hours. This is simmulating the spring season for outdoor growing. Longer days and shorter nights.
Once your ready to start the flowering you go to a 12 hours on and 12hours off. Simmulating the shorter days and longer nights of the fall season. This stimulates the hormones in the plants to trigger flowering.

ok so I scrapped up some spare shit around my house. took apart some of my old computers and re-wired the fans. made a 3x3x4 box out of some wood in the garage. attached some hinges on one of the sides so its exactly like a door. i painted the inside of the box completely white and put 2 GE 6500 daylights on each side of the box about halfway down ( I am able to move them up high as the plants grow). I attached one of the CPU fans(intake) on the very bottom of the box and I put the other on on the very top of the box(outtake). The box is mounted up on 2x4's just so enough air can flow through the bottom to keep it circulating... All 3 plants are in separate pots now and I have a thermometer in there and everything is running at a steady 76 degrees.

better? any suggestions or advice from here would be great too.

Thats sounding better. Now figure out how much light you will need for that space. I would say at a bare minimum you need 2000 lumens per sq ft. But more is always better. Otherwise Your plants will start streching, and you'll start getting to much space between the internodes. You don't want that since you only have 4' vertical area. Position the lights as close as possible to the top of the plants without burning them.
Ok, you have 3'x3'=9 sq ft x2000 lumens=18000. Now check your cfls and find out where you stand. You may need to add a couple more. Once you go into flower mode you'll probably want to switch to more of a full spectrum bulb with the warmer colors.
Also make sure your grow box is compleatly sealed. You don't want any light what so ever getting to the plants once you start the 12/12 flowering cycle.

well when I start 12/12 I don't think it would matter about letting any light in because its in a dark closet anyways. so Im sure Ill be good
