1st timer and growing in my closet, germination went well (i think) and now the sprout is in some dirt i found outside and took from other plants around the house and the soil is in a paper cup that i cut slits in the bottom of. Its under a one bulb floodlight about 6 inch from the soil. Now i have a couple quesitons:confused::

What light cycle should i put it on right now i was thinkin 18/6?

How often should i water it and how much?

Should I put nutrients it it, if so when?

How much does one plant usually yield in these conditions?

Thanks A lot!!!!

most if not all of these questions have already been answered in the FAQ so have a look for yourself..

but..

you can either use 18/6 or 24/7...I'd prob use 24/7 for now and switch to 18/6 once they're a week-10days old.

for seedlings i would use a sprayer and just mist the soil/rockwool (whatever you're using) 3-4times, once a day. The easiest way to kill a plant is to overwater it and that's easy to do when they're so small.

In these conditions...not a lot. What sort of light is it you're using and what spectrum of light is it?

under the right conditions with a low budget, you should be able to pull an ounce per plant every 2.5-3 months without too many hassles.

Read the FAQ First. and also the growfaq at the top of the page theres a link to it.

Start your light cycle on 24/7, u can always switch to 18/6.

Water it when the container the plant is in feels light... get a sense of what it feels like when you do water it.. I just water them slowly till a tiny bit of water drips out the bottom then I stop.

Nutrients will start when the plant has vegged for usually 2-4 weeks, depends on lighting conditions, etc... read the FAQ's first you have a lot to learn... need more lights, a fan, proper temps... yada yada... read up.. :joint::peace:
