Hi everyone,

names Monkz and im new to this site and its also my first time growing.
i planted 8 big bud seeds and of those 4 are growing really well. I was wondering if i should be looking to clone the plants once i have got the female plant(s). and if so i would have to keep them all in the same room because thats the only possible place for me to keep them, so i was also wondering if i should do away with the mother plants once all my clones seem to be growing well because if not the veg growth will be at different stages for the mother plants vs its clones. am i correct in thinking this? any feedback would be great!

thanks all.

im a bit confused. do you only have one grow area, not seperate room for veg and flower?

if you do not clone you will lose the strain and have to obtain/start from seed again next time.

if you dont already know the idea is to keep clones, veg plants, and flowering plants all going at the same time. this will ensure that you have a harvest every month or two(depending on how you run things) and do not lose your strain.

i know about veging and flowering, im just wondering wether i should keep the mother plants once iv made clones because ill end up having way more clones than mother plants but they would need a different light period, so should i do away with the mother plant once iv rooted all my clones or should i leave them in with the clones at 18/6 to keep veging?

i personally clone from my veg plants before they go into flower, it works for me. you can veg your clones and keep your mothers on the same lighting shedule - 18/6, 20/4, 24/0, whatever. i dont know how many clones your looking to take, i take only a couple at a time so my veg plants can supply them easily. it your trying to take 10+ clones i suggest a mother plant. hope this helps.
