1st time grower...any feedback appreciated

Right now i have it 100% but it can go to 75 or 50%. Wondering if maybe switching to a lower setting and then lowering the light will help lower the heat without significant light loss. any suggestions?

Hey everyone,

so this is my first grow. my space is about 2 feet deep 5 feet wide and close to 6 ft tall. I am currently using a 400w MH bulb and my plants seem to be liking it and currently it is about 18" from the tallest plant. Temps stay around 80-84 and my rH is usually around 30 give or take a couple percent. I fed them their 1st set of nutes on the 1st of feb and then again on sunday. Now it appears there may be some burn on my tips but I am not 100% I also don't have any pH strips or meter. Today they were very dry but because of the slight discoloration I just fed Natural spring water with no nutes. Also my leaves are a bit droopy which from what I have read is due to improper pH balance. Is this a big concern or just helpful for producing even better buds!? It seems with my low humidity and heat that i have to water just about every other day (bone dry a cpl inches down). So I guess I am just looking to hear what you guys have to say. Anything that might help my first grow would be great! Thanks!

They came from a Trainwreck Sourdiesel hybrid from what I can tell. Got a bag from there and the buds all spit out quite a few seeds so I assume it was hermaphrodite. I was very disappointed at first being I got from a MMJ store but seems to have been a blessing in disguise . Where did you get your kit from? was it for the soil or testing your water?
