1st time grow- outdoor new zealand

ok well planning an outdoor grow over summer but i am preparing the plants inside before putting them out in the hot summer sun :grin:

UPDATE 1: have germinated seeds and placed them under light, looking forward to them sprouting!!

UPDATE 2: have placed humitidy domes on top of the pots , hoping this will provide a better enviroment for my babys!!

2 days in and i have my 1st seedling! has a very hairy stem and looks good. has me very excited!

4 days in and i now have 2 seedlings, both are growing very fast and look very healthy, the original one is now atleast 3 inches tall

this lot is from outdoor unknown strain, bagseed. however plan to have a garden on a couple more different bagseeds and two white rhino clones. just have to start one at the time.

dam that 3 inch one is really stretched u should bring your lights closer. but how well does that 2 liter cut and put over ur pot work?

the 3 inche one is even more stretched now, i will put them closer to the light, didnt understand the 2nd part? :bigjoint:

4 days old and they have gotten taller, with leafs extending.

I am on my first grow also, 9 days left! Learned a lot from this site or my girl might be dead. If you haven't put a fan in there and have it blow on low right on the plants, if not I have found the stalk gets weak and will fall over, will cause the plant to stress out alot, the one of mine that grew tall fast without a fan never did recover. ok they two plants are getting bigger and stronger at 1 week old,

ALSO

i checked an old pot which had a few seeds germinating in and one had been forgotten and grown atleast 10cm in the dark!! its very weak i wonder if it will survive?

sorry for lack of updating, anyways plants are a week and abit old plus my lanky baby 4 days old, have used a fan on them occasionally but its abit much for the young off who is very weak, so will put fan back on in next couple days.

BIG UPDATE: have completely changed my set-up to a flourescent tube light and tin foil, i accidently put one of the tin foil sheets the wrong way round! worth re doing?

have had to put my plants outside a week 2 early(had to) it is early spring but every 2nd day is spring rain, they are struggling with one having yellow spots and the other has bottom leafs going yellow, advice please

ok so my plants have been outside about 2 weeks now, one is chicken wired and doing well, this one however is not chicken wired as it is in a more obvious spot. what else will help this. a friend suggested crushed egg shells around the stalk?
