1st SCROG , 280W CFL , C99 in coco

Hi all green people! Here is my first try on the SCROG method. My 4th grow in total and as this year all my ordered beans were bad / did not even start to germ! This is my only plant (Feminised Seeds C99) this season and trying to get most out of her...I have LST´d and topped her. Vegged 8 weeks (had problems starting her too)

I flipped her yesterday to 12 / 12 and installed the screen. Hope doing all correct so far

...one mistake I did was I used only 1.5 gal container ....but I did not want to stress her even more with replanting...

transplanting to a bigger pot now should be fine. they don't really stress that much from the move. 1.5 Gallon is pretty small.

Should go up to at least 3 gal. For healthy roots.

Hmm...to be honest I dont see as much growth as usual on 3rd day of 12/12, maybe rootbound already in this small container?

So everyone thinks transplanting plant beginning of flowering is OK? How much extra time am I looking here bcause of this?

Anyways I decided not to transplant her and go with the 2gal pot...see what comes out

Tops starting to grow a little through screen . Day 4 of 12/12 C99 in coco ...waiting for these pistils!

Little update! Day 10 from the "switch"

I don`t know if I get the real "point" of the net, the screen so far! I mean, if the point is to keep the tops even and "mainlined"- I can do it by tying them down (instead of toking them under the screen) ? Maybe I will see the advantages when flowering kicks in

Anyways I thnk so far so good, yea? Some pistlis here and there... the room smells allready as coffeshop in Dam

Today 14 days of flowering. Had a few accidents: lights dropped down last evening, luckily new forming bud spots didnt get burns, but some new leaves were crisp brown and I removed them. Also was a bit tough on her tying down branches. As you can see from photo below But shes doing OK and growing. Hope she recovers well....

All-in-all I think she is doing good and now have started forming first clusters of pistils.

Hello

update of day 20. Meanwhile I have added 55W+30W CFL, Now total 365W CFL. Some yellowing of leaves going on in middle, I think Mg def. Added some epsom salt to watering. Also started to add Canna PK 13/14 two days ago.

Buds filling out now but hope to see some swelling and growth in her last 2-3 weeks. Buds ain`t as fat as I have hoped so far,,, but not that bad too....

hmm....many seem to say that Cindy99 finishes actually as promised, on day 52-56 (8 weeks) and it seems to me that hairs have started to retract back inside. Also I am looking for head high, not couch spliff. At the same time I don`t want to loose any weight on her because of too early harvest....
