Ok so I've been designing and redesigning my grow space for a while now and I'm having issues finding inline water pumps since I dont want to run the chance of raising water temps.

2 rows of 5 5 gallon buckets over a 10 foot span sharing a 30 gallon res.? I figure for the length of pipe I needed at least a 600-800gph pump. 2" and 1/2" pipe being used.

I wanted to make some sort of DIY venturi system as well as waterfall. Any suggestions?

You can just twist the front covered piece and the intake will have threads on them for a fitting it comes with.

Stoked to see your system man. I recommend using Bulkheads and not uniseals. I'be used then and it's always a fear they will leak. Cause they do someimes. Having bulkheads that are sturdy and are threaded for your pipe to connect to is awesome.
You also don't need a 30gal res. More like 8-15.
2" abs will be plenty wide as well for your return lines.
Also if you have not yet purchased the buckets, Don't.
Buy a pack of 4gallon BLACK SQUARE ONES instead or these new ones on Amazon made by APKirk that are 5.3g and are rectangular but rounded edges with the cool lids that lift up.

Edit to bucket mfr on Amazon. APKirk

The planning stages are almost complete its been fun designing. Once I sell my old school I'll have the space and money to put it all in motion.
