Right then my question is, after having read through this site as much as i can and also having looked at loads of vids and pics.

Is it normal for the leaves to turn a lot more yellow during flowering stage beacause of the lack of nitrogen in the feed.
Im running a 400w hps in a space about 800mm wide by 1200mm deep and approx 2.5 m high and the girls are looking nice.

Why im asking is that in a lot of pics and vids ive watched this seems to be the case, and obviously the feed changes drastically because not as much nitrogen is required during the flowering process.

Just trying to work it out before it might or might not happen!

some say yes, some say no. i always have a few that go yellow. but Mg is really gobbled up in early/mid flower. that yellow must be addressed if experienced. the yellowing of over-watering must also be addressed. so.......it depends, is my answer

I agree with you scroglodyte!

I experience yellowing leave that wither and die most of the time when I let the flowering go to it's maximum strain flowering time. It looks to me as if the plant is saying the party is about to begin. Finishing up is my favorite time. The last 14 days. Some don't flush their plants at all. I get a nice Zen time watching what "Final Phase" does to the buds. For 7 years my buds and colas reached maximimum size about a week before they are done (pre-flushed). About 4 days after I start flushing (in soil it strips the salt off the roots - they then allow water intake so the buds grow little buds ontop of the buds making them about 1/5 bigger) that's when the magic starts. I use a good asortment of bud enhancers - This product I can really "see" the proof right before my eyes.

You're plants should be just fine. Many times the leaves end up just drying up and then I flick them off. The buds in front of your eyes are whats important now. Take care not to burn them being too close to light. They have leaves too as you can see - I think they are the leaves that are near the end taking the plant to it's last phase.

Growing is fun, opening the first cured jars of the grow are the pip!

Cheers guys.

Like i said im just trying to get a head start on what might happen because iv seen it in so many pics and vids.

Maybe im just watching stuff late into flowerng, who knows.

Any tips and tricks, throw em my way.

So looking forward to seeing my babies change so amazingly and want to try and give em the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might see some fan leaves (the older/bigger ones) in the middle/lower of your plant start to turn yellow and die around weeks 1-3 of flowering. This is normal for most strains. As long as its only the few that are "inside" the plant..then I wouldn't worry about it.
