Hi all,
Figured after using this site, along with "Buds for less" to learn from, and refer to, i'd post some info on my grow.
FFOF soil 3c-1c perilite 1c vermiculite (2gal. pots from seed, that way no shock from x-plant)
GB/BB/TB nutes
3% H2O2
7 step filtrated water from a nameless grocery store (great water, 1.19/3gal jug refills)
T5HO from HTG (2bulb-2 foot style)
4-42W cfl added 2nd wk of flowering 2y adapters, 2for front side/bottom lighting 2 for rear side/bottom
Seeds BCSeedking Kush
Germed, 2 Kush Dec.3-4th 08'. Potted on Dec 5th, both sprouted dec. 7th/8th veg till dec 14th (7days) on 24/0 lights.dec 14th, lights off. Dec. 15th 7am. lights on for 12/12. Dec 25th, yup both showed femals.
Feeding every 3 days 5L total water 2.5L then 1/2hr later 2.5L Let the perilite in pots soak water for another 45min, then drain catch tray. Nutes with every feeding since dec 19th. Basically its 1/2T H2O2, 1/4 t FF/BB 1/3 t FF/TB few burnt tips along the way but they seem to thrive. Not planning a flush on the grow, watering right up to chopping.
Both girls are trained with paperclips and twist ties in various spots for both light penetration and to bring buds where max light hits max bud. Main colas both tied to edge of pots.Stems from the soil grow in an almost angular direction. (Colas trained to 90 degrees, again for max light from t5s.4 42W provide both front and rear side lighting.Colas are both 10 inches long and 3-4 in diameter, really just look awesome growing almost sideways.
Today is 35 days (5wks) since sex showed, and in the last 2-3 days pistals have really started to redden up 40-50% is my best guess, all side buds seem to be maturing at the same rate, save the small flowers near the main stem. As far as trics, yesterday (1/29/09) 100x scope, i'd say 70% cloudy, 10% clear 15% amber.
I keep a calander in my grow room (closet) and everything i do to, and for my girls, i write it in there. Good to refer back to for the next grow, as this one is going better than i hoped it would. I plan on keeping a smoke report in there to, i may harvest over a week to see which buzz i like best. And i did cut 2 samples this past tuesday 1 watercured, the other air drying, both for the "big game" on sunday.
