Is this normal growth for 2 weeks from clone. They are under 2' x 4 lamps T5 florescent 18hr when I changed the nutes (every week) I forgot to check the PH of the change over rez and the PH was @ 4.6 for half the day, strange thing I swear the plants grew 1 1/2" in that half day:hump:. I try to keep PH at 5.5-6.5
anyway here are some pics.
any help would be great as this is for Meds.:blsmoke:

That is good news and bad news as our elect is about $0.40 per kwh. it cost me $200.00 a month with out the lights and they only add 40-50 a month. wonder if I would be better setting up in the green house and just supplement the sunlight with the light I have to make the full 18 hr. or go for broke and go HPS and grow more plants??? or God forbid stay with soil dare i say that word in this thread lol... thanks for the advise guys
 
They are small for 2 weeks old from clone. They are stretch because that T5 light should have been right on top of them less hten 1 inch away.Id also have been under 24 hours light vegged 10 day then went 12/12 to keep them under 4 1/2 feet at finish
 
well.

400Watt x 12 = 4.8KWH
4.8 X 0.40 = 1.92

So thats $1.92 Per day.

I'm gessing that those 8 Florecent tubes are using around 200Watts so your looking at $1 increase per day. thats about $60 more for the crop.

So you only need to get 1/2oz more bud when using this light to make profit.

Get the light.
 
the light is always kept 1-2" above it was just up to take pics I had just got through changing nutes. but yeah I need to get the light. How many plants can you grow under 400 watt sys?
Veg for only 10 days? never knwe you could go that short a time. but I just got a big smile lights for 10 days than green house for finish. Thanks I need to do more reading i guess lol I remember when you just stuck a seed in the ground but than again that was long ago.

Because the mouther plant has already reached sexal maturaty. her clones are ready to go. you can actuly put them into flowering as soon as they have roots.

I have 8 plants in DWC under my 400W HPS.
They are doing well, I am hoping that I will get 8oz from this crop, but I have no idea as it is my first. Thats like 0.6 Grams a Watt for the two months that they are under the light. I have decided that I will not get any more lights until I can achave 1 Gramm per Watt.

I veged for 20 Days, but I think with better clones I could get the same results in 15 days.

Look at all that root. Looks like you let the clones go a long time. Were you using some sort of rooting solution during this whole period?
 
it took 18 days to root the clones I had 4 out of 12 from the first time ever cloning, I put all 4 in soil as I did not have all my DWC stuff yet. after 10 day being in soil i too the 2 smallest ones and rinsed the soil off threaded the roots through the netpot dropped them in the solution and there there they are. I did not even have a ph or TDS meeter so did not check just went on faith...

I am using Aquaflakes = parts A & B @ 3 Tsp.per gal
at first I hade the water level just touching the bottom of the net pot, as soon as the roots hit the solution I cut the level in 1/2 (4 Gal) and it had been kept there since. I change the rez every 7 days. keep the ph @ 5-6 but not to sure about the TDS readings I think i have a bum tester:confused: I cal using 1500 but when i test the res it flashes 2000:spew:

Did you clean your Cley Pebels? They can be very dusty and that dust can alter the Reading.

Using your calbrating liquid (Or any other know PPM liquid) and test it, test 3 or 4 other soloutions and then test the calbrating liquid again, if it read true your meter is fine. and your res is 2000. i'm not sure about TDS, I work in EC, and have found that lower is better (To a piont any way)
