Hi all,
This is my first grow: CFL cardboard box set up. Just two plants this time, clones of Space Queen (Cindy99xRomulan). I vegged them outside on my balcony. After harvest, and wondering why they finished so quick, I looked up the almanac to see the length of daylight from their first day out. Turns out they never had a day longer than 12 hours. I've learned a lot from this grow though and my current plants are already twice the size.
I've learned so much from everyone in these forums, so maybe someone can learn from my mistakes too. I dealt with nute lock, improper ph, gnats from cheap soil, powdery mildew, and other issues with the box set up. I managed to fight all these things in a natural/ organic way. I ended up with 55g of amazingly sweet and fruity bud. Clear headed and focused high (or couch lock if I hit it too much).
It's crazy how I didn't think these plants looked that bad until the very end at harvest. My current setup its already twice the size with 40 or so days left until harvest. If I can make improvements like that, anyone can!
