I just started a journal in the journal section, when i realized i wont get feedback there =(
So I'll just copy what I posted there and maintain both threads from now!
Inspired by some PC-Grows me and my brother started a little project. We designed a growbox that would fit in a certain space at my home. The height was limited to about 70cm (~28").

This pic shows the design and the actual assembled grow box. We equipped the box with window seals to seal light and smell. When we initiate flowering we will equip the box with 2 custom made carbon filters.
We germinated and planted 3 Seeds (1x Orange Hill, 2x Blue Velvet - both feminized seeds from Dutch Passion). For germination we put the seeds into two glasses of water (two to seperate the breeds from another). After about 20 hours we placed them in a wet towel for another 20 hours.

Then we planted them into a light soil mix and watered (6.0-6.5 pH & root stimulator). Because my tap water had a pH of about 7.3 we lowered it with a few drops of lemon juice. We placed the pots under 3x23W CFLs (6500K) with a distance of 5-7cm (~2-2.5") because we didnt want to burn the seedlings. When the plants grow we will reduce the distance to about 2-3 cm (~1") from the CFLs.
