1st grow, how do I know when I am getting real flowers?

I already have preflowers, but want to know what to look for when the real flowers start coming in...any help would be awesome

uhh..lots and lots of pistils.

A letter will arrive in the mail notifying you when the real flowers will arrive.

JK before...look for swelling calyxs and two very fine hair like pistils on female plants
And on male plants, which will develop earlier, clusters of grape like flowers emerge and open with pollen producing stamens
MJ shows clear signs of sex after about two weeks of 12/12

oh really? cuz i jsut got a letter in the mail.... well i got my girl as a clone so she has already shown her sex and she has some preflowers with pistils, but there aren't that many and nothing is swelling, she's just vegging! plus she's outdoor so i have no control over lighting...i'm hoping in another couple of weeks she'll start to blossom into a real lady!
